recalibrate yoga flow
RECALIBRATE is Louise’s signature 90 minute yoga flow, designed to create powerful shifts on all layers (koshas) of the human system. This is a potent set sequence that will transform stagnated and depleted energy, giving the body a new ‘lease of life’ energetically.
It is curated and designed by Louise and takes inspiration from vinyasa flow, power and rocket yoga.
There will be a fiery aspect to the class, inviting you to unravel some of the tightness, to allow your system to shift and change. More advanced postures will be demonstrated and offered, to give you an opportunity to practice taking your yoga asana to the next level. We will spend time towards the end of this practice going into some longer held, deeper and slower stretches - to regulate and soften parts of you that need gentle attention. Expect to feel invigorated, refreshed and rejuvenated.
RECALIBRATE is for people who have practiced yoga before - it wouldn't be the best option for a total beginner, but you do not need an established practice to join.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT RECALIBRATE
RECALIBRATE is a set sequence, so the more you come the more you’ll learn the flow. It is a practice accompanied by music, which is intentionally quite loud to bolster the experience of energy flow and to use the vibration of the sound to create deep shifts. The flow is neither fast nor slow - we find a steady rhythm that allows you to properly breathe.
It is 90 minutes long as it includes breath practice, flow, yin postures and a short closing mediation. It is a powerful experience that will shift your energy on a deep level.
There is one RECALIBRATE event each month.

RECALIBRATE is not recommended for total beginners. The fluidity of the flow requires you to be able to move quite dynamically. However, you do not need to be ‘good’ in order to come! It is an open and welcoming space for anyone who wants to move, probably sweat, and feel energised, centred and rejuvenated.

It depends on the injury. If your movement is restricted and you feel worried, please contact Louise in advance to check if the sequence is appropriate for you. Yoga can be really therapeutic and helpful for injuries, but RECALIBRATE isn’t a remedial practice predominately.

No! You don’t have to be able to do any challenging postures to attend. Louise will teach some arm balances and inversions and you’ll be invited to play with these and practice them if you want to - if you don’t, there will be other options available for you.

WHERE TO PRACTICE RECALIBRATE
This is a signature sequence created by Louise, so it can only be taught by Louise… for now!
All events are held at Monxton and Amport Hall. Spaces are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
